Phew
Jason's and my little wedding ring are somewhat different. Mine is 2 gold hammered bands one with a bright peridot. Right when I saw it on my finger it just fit, it was perfect. Every time I look at my ring I love it more and more each day. Jason's ring is a gold band with wood inlay and crushed mother of pearl which I am completely in love with. Both of our rings are pretty unique which I simply adore...so you could maybe feel the pit in my stomach when he lost his ring. Those of you who know Jason, he loses about everything from his shoes to his wallet on a daily basis. For some reason he manages to find everything. Lucky for us this time his mother Jean saved me from throwing up that whole day and found the ring wedged in a crack in her driveway. She surprised us with it at a birthday party in the park and saved us from going to their house that night with flashlights and a lot of crying. So I'm pouring out all my thanks to Jean who saw this wood ring flashing in the light. We owe you.

so glad you found it! that really is a sickening feeling...
CJ lost his original wedding ring only four months after we'd been married. i was so upset. but now i've had to seriously let go of the idea of having a "meaningful" wedding ring for him...he's lost three other rings since. he's on ring number 5. we just go to the kiosk at the mall and get him a cheap $15 ring. that's life for you.
glad you found jason's!
I'm so happy for you. So happy.
I love that your rings are unique.
