Yoga Pose of the Day

With so much going on right now, it's hard not to get completely overwhelmed. I find myself pushing myself to reach goals & to still try to enjoy this Spring weather. I know when I get a little stressed & my head is pounding I resort to this position that cousin gorgeous Kerry is practicing called Legs Up the Wall. It's considered to be one of the most relaxing positions. It helps release stress & anxiety. If you have a headache, backache or just need a position that calms your mind...this is one way of helping you. Today seems like a perfect day to practice this & hopefully you all will get some time in & practice this. Ps you can also place folded blankets under your hips to relax you a bit more. Happy Sunday

Legs up the wall... love how original these some pose names are. I may be stuck like this permanently as my life seems like one big ball of stress. Think its possible to cook dinner n this position??? Just wondering.

i love this pose. makes you feel so good. could you give me some good pre-natal poses to help my lower back? it's killing me these days. also, are there any modifications i can be doing to strengthen my core, since i can't do much for it? hope you are doing well! xo.

Laura I think the best pose for back pain is standing cat/cow or doing cat/cow on all fours if you feel comfortable doing so. For core strength...Spinal Balance, pelvic circles and maybe kneeling plank would be good to help you out. If you have more questions I'm happy to help you out..email me..I think if you have it.
