the bird & me

This little bird loves to held, be outside and hates to be buckled down into anything. 80% of the time my little babe screams in the car..not just screams foams at the mouth kind of scream. It breaks my heart and I've done about everything that I could think of to help the situation. I don't go anywhere, but those days that I do..I limit the errands and break them up throughout the week, I feed her, change her, play with her right before and still the same screaming. I've worked around her naps, driven during her naps and same old thing. There are those rare moments where she's content and I think to myself..today's the day she gets over this, but then the next time we go out..she screams. Good thing I live close to a grocery store that we can walk down to every once in a while, but it makes me so sad and she gets so mad in the car...help? Do I just play the waiting game or is there some trick out there that I'm missing. Until then Wren and I will be at home and we love visitors.

Happy Sunday

Im sorry!! Johnny hates the cars seat too.. It's awful, I feel helpless and terrible. The second I take him out he all smiles and fine. He does what we like to call "the pig squeal" cry where he is totally hysterical. He arches his back when I put him and makes it very difficult to strap him in. I feel you, but I don't have anything to fix it except he loves to be swaddled when he sleeps so when I get him all strapped in I then take his blanket and tuck it around him(his arm tucked in it too if its nap time) and I think it helps him feel safer that's the only thing I found to help. I just figure he's stubborn and will have to get over it someday.
