Spiral Jetty

In my Modern Art History class a few semesters ago, I learned all about the Spiral Jetty by Robert Smithson's. In the 1970's earth works or land art was becoming more popular and this piece is not only created by mud, salt crystals, rock, water and bull dozers, but its actually in my back yard in the Great Salt Lake. I've been dying to see this in real life and a few months ago Jasy buns took me flying and let me see what I've been longing for. Its pretty amazing I might add.

I have been obsessed with cool things in Utah lately, and this has been on my "Visit Soon" list since 2005. I gotta get there.
