Yesterday Jason, Emily and I decided to take their niece Sadie and their nephew Parker for a easy hike. We knew that there may be some snow patches but we didn't expect what happened. Our half a mile hike ended up taking us 3 hours. We found out that strollers are not intended to be pushed in snow, our feet were freezing, soggy, frostbitten, and we actually never made it to our destination. I guess it's pretty hard to find the trail in snow. Despite our cold unexpected situation, we thought it was pretty funny. The kids were great. Sadie never complained and Parker some how fell asleep in his bumpy chariot. I guess that's what you get when you try to jump start summer activities.
