Thankful

This season of Thanks is one of my favorites. Lately I’ve been thinking about all the little things and BIG things that I’m thankful for, people who help me on a daily basis even if it’s a smile from a stranger or a phone call from a friendly voice. There are a lot of things that I’m grateful for, my family, Jason, my friends, my little babysize apartment, yoga, homemade quilts, vanilla yogurt with raspberries, sunny cold days. I’m grateful for the traditions that have been passed down to me from generations to generations. Last night I made my mom’s homemade chicken noodle soup that she got from her grandma that we indulged every year on Christmas Eve. Something about that soup reminds me of my family, of being blessed and being thankful for all the little and BIG things that get me by in my life. Having my little helper to stir and to create something that has been passed down from grandmothers, to daughters to sisters, to friends, to even a little 2 year old. I’m very grateful for it all. Many thanks to all my friends & family enjoying this season of THANKS.

I had a taste of your soup for my lunch, and it was delicious! Is it grama's recipe or that little helper that made it so good?
