Fall

This seems to be the only soup that I make these days. Nothing is better than a hot soup on a fall day. I'm eating this while my baby bird sleeps. She's still not feeling better and I just wish she was old enough to eat this soup with me because I think it would help her just a little bit. She still has that pretty smile and her energy in-between her runny nose and tired eyes. The rest of the week if the babe feels better..I'm hoping to make some pumpkin chocolate chips, maybe go to my mom's tomorrow and a Halloween bash, a visit to my sister, hopefully seeing Marta on Friday..maybe taking a nap or two.
I'm looking forward to the weekend where I get to see the hubby..maybe eat some more soup and enjoy this chilly air.

Happy Fall

Today we...

smile with bubbles

This little babes has been sick lately, I hate when she gets sick..I feel so helpless and the only thing that feels naturally and helpful is to hold this little babes. Today she has spent most of the time either in my arms or in my ergo baby carrier. We went on a walk early this morning, she then took a nap in my arms...I later met Marta and her crew at Trolley to walk around and do some grocery shopping for dinner tonight..a lady stopped me and said good job for having such an adorable little baby. It made me happy.
This afternoon I laid down with the babes and we both took naps..she sleeps so soundly in my room, which is becoming to be a good or bad habit? I snuck out and cleaned up, later as I checked on the babes she woke up and gave me a huge smile with bubbles and then instantly ate her hands and went back to sleep. She loves being outside so when she woke up again, we went on another walk. It's so pretty and I love how it's not as hot anymore..we've been enjoying longer walks and taking our time to stop and look at trees or flowers. She fell asleep as we walked home and she's still in the ergo carrier. I'm waiting for Jason to come so I can go teach in an hour where I'll probably talk about mediation and how to relax..I'm excited and hope the students will get something out of it. I will then be anxious to get home to my little family. It's been a good lazy day..just hope this little babes starts to feel better.

Happy September

Home

Jason's window

It turns out we may move downstairs next week, but I may just go ahead and get my tree. The holiday season isn't the same without a tree right? Even though we are only moving down the hall and a flight of stairs, I'm getting a little sad. This apartment was the first place Jas and I called home together. A lot of happy memories and I'm excited for the next step in our lives.

There are a few things that I'll miss that I know I wont have downstairs..like this view from our kitchen. Every morning Jason opens those blinds and looks out the window. It's a pretty view especially at night when the sun is setting and I know I'll miss it along with my bright yellow tile in my bathroom which Jason hates but I know it's a step up from the pink tile bathroom that awaits for us. So a few things that I'm going to gain..more space. I better not be sleeping next to these babies again and I'm more than excited to get extra space for our climbing and camping gear. That picture does not do any justice to how overloaded it really is.

So today I'm cleaning..a person is going to look through this place so it's bitter sweet for me.
But I know good things are waiting around the corner or I guess just down some stairs.

new

I'm in love with my new tight rope coffee table. It now sits against the window more like a window seat. It's colorful, different and did I mention that I'm in love.

Hello Blue

Hello sky! Jason is flying through this baby blue today and I came home from yoga to clean with all the windows open. The smell of Pinesol reminds me of being awoken up by James Taylor and my mom singing every Saturday morning. I'm a happy girl. Off to the grocery store. Happy Wednesday!

Scared to face 20 hours of school to graduate this summer (cross your fingers). I just hope that I can handle it. Excited & scared to start a new life this summer. Happy Sunny Day Everyone!!!

Homebase

Welcome to our home
Our first apartment as marrieds is right in the heart of the city. Old fixtures, build ins, hardwood floors, and cupboards that I can't even reach. Its slowly coming along and everyday we are making it our home one memory at a time.
