Hello December

Hello December! How did this happen so quick. Last week we were eating turkey and making grandma's stuffing. Now we are making Christmas list, shopping, staying cozy inside while it's freezing outside. Christmas is going to be here in no time and I'm excited for it. Wren still doesn't really have any idea what's going on, but she loves seeing lights, dancing to Christmas music, and really hates Santa. Even though this month is cold, gets super busy and super crazy, it's one of my favorite times and it's so much fun with my little Wrenny baby running around and actually reacting to seeing things for the very first time.

my babes & the weekend

This past weekend was one of those really great weekends. The kind that you always want..perfect weather, good food and great company. To celebrate our anniversary we took this little babe of ours and stayed up in Midway and in the morning we played in Park City and spent the rest of the day with family and friends. Perfect weekend with my amazing husband and that adorable little girl of mine.

We've been busy and luckily last week the weather was so warm... we had to take advantage of it because I hear there is snow in our future..ugh.
The picture above and on the left were taken in Little Cottonwood Canyon. We broke out the hiking backpack and Wren loved every minute of our hike, even fell asleep as we were hiking down. She's just the cutest little thing.

Tomorrow we are heading down south to Moab. Wren's been surrounded by all of our climbing gear as we've been getting ready and found her new favorite toy.. Jason couldn't be more thrilled. We are excited but before we head down we made sure to stop at the park with some family and stuff our faces with some awesome waffles.

It's going to be a good family vacation.

Happy March

This face melts my heart..some of you have seen this picture on my instagram yes you heard me I'm on instagram and have no idea what I'm doing but it's fun. This little one is 9 months her stats 15 lbs (hip hip hooray) which puts her at a high 3%. She's also 26 inches long which puts her at a whopping 14%. My little bird. Her size doesn't seem to slow her down, its actually helping her move quite fast and she's doing way to much and getting into everything. So I'm hoping the rest of my baby weight will just burn away as I'm chasing this little one..we'll see. 

There's been a lot going on but first lets talk about that sunshine and that blue sky. It's still cold, but I'm starting to feel Spring around the corner which gets my heart beating a little bit faster. I can't wait to go swimming and go outside without a layers of clothes on. I can't wait for this little one to enjoy the summer life. Yesterday it was pretty rainy..I was meeting the hubby/daddy for lunch and I looked in my mirror and saw this little one staring at the raindrops on the window. She looked confused, looked interested and I loved just the simplicity of it. I can't wait to see what she sees next. Summer get here soon. 

This past week my little family stayed busy, running errands, the mummies exhibit and ate a lot. Tonight I'm putting a salad together and getting back to eating better...maybe it's time to go back to being a vegetarian? This week has already been so busy and it just doesn't stop..first Happy Birthday to a few special ladies..my sister Abigail, Emily and one of my oldest friends Ginnie..I sure love you guys and life is just so much sweeter with you in it. So the busyness continues and tomorrow I'll be teaching a lot..nervous, excited, but it should be a good and I haven't taught the yoga teaching training since before Wren..I'm ready for the challenge which Jason helped me prep last night (thank you Jas for talking Chakras with me). So things are looking bright and this little babe is nothing but sweetness and trouble. I couldn't be happier.

update & some favorites

This past week has been the best. I turned 31 and was surrounded by all of my favorite people (obviously a few were out of town..mom, dad, ems, krista) but it truly was a week to remember and I got spoiled. Here are a few of my favorite items this week. Maybe you'll pick these up for yourself or these are great ideas for gifts..enjoy

My parents have started this dish collection for me from Anthropologie and I looove it. If you know me, you know that I'm a little obsessed with bowls, dishes, you name it. I'm in love.

Speaking of love..remember when I talked about this quilt that I just loved? Well little Ms Abby is going to whip it up for me and I can't wait.

Marta had done a 12 day countdown to my birthday and I was spoiled by all the goods..here are some favorites. Lush Ocean Salt Scrub (I used it the first time last night and love it), glass bird paperweight reminds me of my little bird and grandma June, bumble&bumble texture creme, oh and this bed head conditioner so dreamy, I'm in love with this candle..simply the best (can find these at Anthropologie or Got Beauty)

My Aunt spoiled me and bought these shoes from J crew so cute and I cannot wait to wear them..thanks Jo

The hubby always makes my birthday so special and I got to go shopping baby free (a few times)..I picked up a few items like these comfy tees and this finally came out on dvd..I'm obsessed.

First week being 31 has been pretty good.

Weekend with February

Oh Hello February...

February is a fun month for me..it's a short one, a birthday one, and it's full of love. 

Last month brought so much snow I felt like we would never get out of the house, but this weekend brought some sunshine and we got out and about..so besides getting snowed in for the last week or so..we've been quite busy. My little girl has been busy being super cute and super busy..see these adorable pictures below

So we were busy painting, cleaning, running around doing errands, visiting family, game night..I even had time this morning to teach a yoga class at the Lululemon store and loved every minute of it.

Update

This little babe of mine is my world..the last few weeks have been busy and this little bird is a busy one. Lately she hasn't been interested in any of her toys but more like plugs, shoes, rugs that I don't want her to touch. She's one determined babe and I love that look in her eyes as she see something and knows that she'll do anything to get to it. Tomorrow I'll start teaching again which I'm excited and nervous..I'm always nervous the day before classes..its like I've forgotten that I've done this about a million times. Maybe today Wren and I will just take it easy and maybe she'll help me make dinner or maybe we'll bundle up and go for a walk..it's been so cold outside and we've missed our walks. So I haven't had a lot of time to play around with the pictures and when I did it ended with frustration. Luckily the pictures on my phone are happily fitting on the blog..hopefully soon you'll see some pictures of Christmas parties and some real cute ones of the babes...she's getting bigger but she's still pretty teeny.

This past week we've been getting ready for Christmas, it's starting to snow a lot these days but before that big storm hit last night Jas and I went to my favorite Blue Plate where as usual I ordered my black bean breakfast burrito. Jas ordered chicken fried steak which I hadn't had since hot lunch in my elementary days.

It's been a good month so far..my yoga classes have ended this semester, we've had family in town and last night we had our cousin's girls night (more on that later).

This week will probably go by fast and Christmas will be here in no time. I can't wait..it's a great time of year.

confused, frustrated & so busy

Lately we've been super busy and I have so many pictures to share! The problem is I have no space on my blogger? Confused and frustrated..photoshop has become my best friend but also my worst enemy. I thought I knew computers, but once I size down all my pictures I'll be back to share those Thanksgiving pictures of us playing chinese checkers and a million of my little babes..she's already 6 months! I can't believe it. Last night she woke up to the thunder and I held that little babes in my arms knowing that she's not going to stay this tiny forever. I can't wait for her to run around, play and talk but last night I wanted her to stay like this forever. I've been blessed with one really happy, adorable little babe. 

This past week I went to Marta's for a lesson in photoshop (I think I need one more lesson Mart) and she gave me a early Christmas present which I about died when I saw it..I'm a sucker for anything yoga..go here to see. I'm getting ready for Christmas...still have a few things on my shopping list and I'm hoping to tackle Abby's sewing machine..wish me luck the last time I was on her sewing machine was when I made Jason a quilt about 5 years ago and I said that was the last time I'm doing it! I'm giving it another try. Tonight we have our Bagley family Christmas party which I'm so excited for. Jason is going to be one popular guest there...(more on that later).

This weekend we bought Wren a new hat, Wren's first snow storm,
went to a Halloween bash at Jason's parents house..
Wren went as the cutest Minnie Mouse that I've ever seen, 
ate more soup, 
didn't make pumpkin chocolate chips (will do that this week), 
visited my mom & dad, had Marta's fam over, watched a scary movie with sugar cookies, 
went to Jason's work, took a nap or two,
babe still has a running nose, but she's one cute little babes.

Birds and an update

This little bird mobile hangs in the corner of our girl's room. It's perfect and is exactly the pop that I wanted. Her room seems to still be a mod podge of furniture, new and old items, etc. But it's coming along. We got a car seat (thank you for all of your suggestions) and I've been washing her clothes and blankets. She's moving a lot and I've been more uncomfortable as the days go by and getting bigger. A month from today is her due date and on Thursday I'll be 36 weeks pregnant..it's still so weird to think I'll be holding a little babe so soon. Jas and I can't hardly wait.

Weekend

Hello friends,


So this weekend I've been feeling pretty pregnant. This little babe has gotten my full attention and I'm sure listening to her. The kicks have been on going and she is stretching so much that I can see through my shirt her little leg or maybe her arm reaching out. It makes me smile and still sometimes in shock at how much she has this little personality. Oh I can't wait to see her. This past weekend I've been making list on things to get done before this little one arrives. Cleaning, freezing meals, putting her room together. Feeling unprepared and nervous, I took a break from everything yesterday and Jason treated me to my black bean breakfast burrito with some hot chocolate, while the boy had to go into work my sister kept me company. I sat down watching her sew and looking at all the fabric she has picked out for my little one. I can't wait to wrap her up in one of Abby's quilts. I can't wait for a lot of things, but for now I'm preparing for my last 2 weeks of teaching yoga for the semester and eating some oreos. This coming week is going to be good..more to come.

February is such a good month to express a little lovin'...since my body has been full of hormones and things have been a little emotional, a little hard at times. I haven't loved getting bills from my surgery, I feel like they are smothering me with negativity. I haven't loved that I have been breaking out on my face more than I had since I was 13, but still my life has been good and I need to spread more love and appreciation.


I've been loving this love quilt that my talented amazing big sister made. You could get one here and stare at it all day long with love. I love that my sister has been sending me home with dinners ever since my surgery and that she has gotten my little girl the cutest clothes with these adorable shoes...she's going to be one pretty cute girl. 
I have loved finally being able to move around more and teach yoga without being afraid of pain. 
I have loved finally being able to feel this little girl move, kick and maybe even punching me while I've been trying to sleep in. It still shocks me every time I feel it even though it's been happening more and more often. I also love that her little heartbeat is strong and I can't help but get teary when I hear it. 
I have loved eating captain crunch and lynn wilson bean burritos (thanks for the push Mart), even though my pre-pregnant self would really be disappointed, but sure..I make up for it teaching yoga and eating a lot of veggies right? 
I have loved these blueberry muffins that I made last night. Jason even said, "The way I feel about these blueberry muffins is the same way I feel about you." I'm glad that our love is compared to blueberry muffins but I'll take it because these are delicious and worth every single bite.
I have loved our new little car. Jason's car broke down last week and even though I'm stress with the bills, etc. Finally having an ac after 4 years of not is going to be so nice. I even enjoy those seat warmers in the mornings. The car is fit for a mom, it's perfect. 
I have loved waking up to Jason's hand on my belly. That's his little to go to spot to snuggle, he's been asking how the little one is doing today and what's she's up to. Yesterday she was a little sleepy today she has been workin' out with her mama and kickin' like crazy. It's a weird feeling to be already attached to this little person. I have loved getting to know her already and can't wait to see her little face and cute buns.
