my babes & the weekend

This past weekend was one of those really great weekends. The kind that you always want..perfect weather, good food and great company. To celebrate our anniversary we took this little babe of ours and stayed up in Midway and in the morning we played in Park City and spent the rest of the day with family and friends. Perfect weekend with my amazing husband and that adorable little girl of mine.

Smiley Creek

This past weekend we flew up to Idaho to Smiley Creek.
We flew on dirt runways, hiked to a hot spring, and had a lot of fun.
I was a little worried flying with Wren in the little airplane but she did so well and even flew the airplane herself.
After this weekend it made me really excited to do this more often and keep it a family tradition.
Jason is in his element flying backcountry and he's a dang good pilot and I'm happy we got home safe.

oh sweet Moab

This past weekend we went down to Moab (pictures below). It was so much fun.
For Christmas my friend & I bought our boys skydiving which Jason actually guessed the next day (he said he could read Christmas minds).
I've been a little worried about going climbing with the babe since she's in full crawl mode but she loved the trip more than me...and her favorite toys are rock climbing gear just like her dad.
It looks like we may be doing more of these kinds of trips in the future because it was the best.

So I'm looking forward to this weekend with a hike and a couple of Easter egg hunts.

Climbin'

This past weekend a group of us went down to St George to get our rock climbing on. It was perfect weather, a lot of fun & I babysat my dream puppy for awhile. I was in heaven. It's hard to come back to snow storms, but the sun is shining now & I'm excited for the weeks to come.

Last week I went down to California with this little gal to visit this little lady. We had so much fun. It was exactly what I needed and I can't thank Jo enough for all that she does for me. Here are a few highlights of the week.

Vegas & Yogurtland

So I spent this last weekend with this little guy and yogurtland in Las Vegas, oh and Abby, Mike, Ty & Mel. Abby had invited whoever to come enjoy the sun in the little place we call sin city. Since Jason was “bringing home the bacon” as he so put it, I decided since I am a college grad to go have fun with the sister and her little adorable boy Jake. Fun we had..we spent most of our time at H&M and Yogurtland where I insist you all take a 5 hour car ride to enjoy your self served lemon-lime custard which is the lemon custard Abby has been craving since Grampa Giggs treated us at the Canyon Racquet Club. It was a fun trip until Jake got me sick, but who could stay mad at that face. Thanks Abby, Mike, Jake, Ty & Mel for a great trip. It was nice to have a mini vacation.

Home Sweet Home

So I'm finally back from the world wind tour that I loved so much. Turkey, Greece and Paris are amazing and I recommend all you to go there. Its gorgeous. Kelly, Kerry & Jo blogged about it since they are alot better at the blogging world..go check out their blogs. It was a really amazing trip & to spend it with such fun, wonderful people made it perfect. Its good to back home & see all the friends & family..& Jason. Hopefully I'll be better at blogging now.

For the last couple of years I have been invited to go on trips that I've been dreaming about. My aunt lets me tag along with her and her kids to places that are unreal. We've seen the Matterhorn on a clear day..been on top of Europe in ice sculptures..We've traveled to Switzerland..Italy..Venice..Seen the Last Supper..Lake Como..Loch Ness..Kissed the Blarney Stone..stood by Stone Henged..drove through the country of Ireland..England..Scotland. I've been so blessed to be part of this experience. This year on Monday we are off to Turkey, Greece and Paris and I'm just lucky to be part of the fun and spend time with my cousins and aunt. This trip will be amazing and I'm really excited to have more adventures. I'm just so grateful for my aunt who lets me see these places that normally I would just be seeing in a book.
